Kelly's Rustic Chips are French fries prepared according to the original recipe of French fry inventor George Crum from 1853. The potatoes are exclusively small, as they have a more pronounced flavor than larger ones. They are sliced slightly thicker, marinated in a salt bath made from Alpine salt, and baked with the skin on in sunflower oil.
The potatoes are exclusively Austrian-grown.

Born in America – Made in Austria. Kelly follows this principle to produce its unique Kelly's Sunland Farm Chips. These are made according to the original American recipe from 1853 by chip inventor George Crum. Only 100% of the finest Austrian potatoes, salt from the local Alps, high-quality HOSO sunflower oil, and all-natural flavors are used in production. "We are the only chip supplier that exclusively uses potatoes from Austria – in this product range, with the skin on and refined in a salt bath," says Dr. Wolfgang Hötschl, CEO of Kelly, proudly. Kelly has been working with around 150 contract farmers throughout Austria for many years to achieve this goal.
